Hey Kiddos..
Well things have changed a bit at the ranch. We have had a changing of the guards if you will, a clean slate. To be honest, I was a bit nervous about the new Pastor coming in, I was so used to and still love Father Paul - we have worked together for so long. But you go with the flow, hoping that your job is secure, that you get along with the new guy (s) - and hope for the best.
Day one:
- His name - Father Nick - yes, he is of Greek decent - which is similar to mine. Check!
- Apparently, when he was first a priest, I sang for his first mass, I guess I sang for it. I don't remember - but he does and he liked me.. whew.
- When he did his first mass where I am now, he told the entire congregation that I sang his first mass as a priest.
That was day one, I think we will be ok.... get ready.. because this guy might be as funny as me.. might be.
